A special form of cleaning process installations in a factory is the so-called CIP installation, cleaning in place. CIP is a cleaning method that is used for cleaning pipes and other parts of closed installations. Complete process lines can be cleaned without dismantling the process installations. Cleaning is an important part of the quality process and extends the life of a process installation.
